Plasticizers Overview
Trilene® Liquid EPDM copolymers and terpolymers are used to modify the flow characteristics and improve the processing of high molecular weight elastomers, high durometer compounds, thermoplastic elastomers and plastics. In elastomers, the Trilene® Liquid EPDM terpolymers provide cured formulations with low extractables and are much less susceptible to migration compared with conventional plasticizers. This has led to their use in molded goods such as automotive brake parts and in extruded and calendered products such as single-ply roof sheeting.
